Anyone got a s&w 1911pd with the 5" barrel? I am thinking about getting one and want to see some quality photos of it. Also, is it a good, reliable 1911?
Thanks!

I have a commander version. No failures yet. Sorry, but I don't have pictures. About 5000 230 grn FMJ rounds through it and the frame shows no signs of cracking or wear.

I too have the commander length. It has been 100% from the get go. About 700 rounds down the pipe.

I also have a commander. It eats anything I through at it. Fit and finish is real nice. I like a lot.
I have the Commander size Sc. 100% reliable, and is a very nice shooter.

Very nice grips. May I ask where they came from?

I got them from Gun Grip Guys, CLICK HERE (http://www.gungripguys.com/1911/Index.htm) for a link to the site. They also sell on E-Bay.
Nice. Thank you sir. I want something different from the norm.
