As I said in my other thread, my PM9 (LDC w/NS) should be here soon. BTW, Jerry at Ordnance Outsellers is a great guy to deal with! I've read through this entire forum and have already gained a wealth of knowledge from you guys. Based on everything that I read, I decided to buy a brand new gun just in case I needed to take advantage of the lifetime warranty.
Anyway, my question is this: What do you feel is the ultimate break-in procedure for a new polymer Kahr? Other than a thorough cleaning and then putting 200 rounds through it, what else can I do to ensure proper operation? I've read that some people polished the feed ramp before they even fired the gun for the first time. Is this a good idea (based on past precidence) or is it overkill until I experience an FTB? Those of you who have perfect PM9s, is there anything that you did to make it that way or is it just luck?
The archives at GlockTalk don't seem to go back very far, so hopefully we can get some good discussion going to help others with new polymer Kahrs in the future.
Thanks,
Matt
