I have the chance to buy a NIB Beretta 9000S in 9mm at a give away price. This would be a BUG gun and carried twice a week when I need to carry a small gun. How are these accuracy and functioning wise? How would you rate or compare them to a Glock 26? Thanks-Bill

It's not a BUG. It's way too big for that...it's bigger than a G26 if I remember right, and the grip is considerably larger. I have medium small hands and still shoot a G30 fine but I could not comfortably pull a DA shot on the 9000S (much to my dismay, I thought about getting one).

Thanks for the reply MrMurphy. I went to the store tonight that had the 9000S deal and yes, found that it was larger than described in articles and it had a very large grip and also was an over all very wide pistol. I probabky passed up on a great shooter at a super price for a NIB gun, but it would not fit my needs for carry. I think a Glock 27 or 36 would work much better. And my safe is full of good shooters. The 36 is just a skinny 30 (as big as a G19, but thicker), basically, the same size if not larger than the 9000.
The 26, 27 or maybe the new S&W M&P compact when it comes out would do much better.
