View Full Version : H&k 93 Fte + Ftf
I have an H&K 93 that first failed to Eject, eating the round on the return stroke. After eating 3 or 4 rounds it failed to fire. (Ammo was high quality core lokt remington .223) After initially purchasing the rifle, the firing pin had to be replaced before the weapon would work. I suspect that the extractor might be broken and that is causing the failure to eject, which then somehow causes problems with the firing pin (as it is crushing spent casings in the breech as it closes).
Did you get the rifle new or used?
The rifle was purchased used, several years ago. It sat in the safe for years until we finally decided to fire it. The firing pin was replaced after an initial FTF, approximately 20 rounds were fired, then the weapon was again returned to the safe.

My first black rifle was a NIB93 way back in 1982 ($399!). Twice it had bolt failures/breakages and had to be sent back for work.
