Still in the $350 range.
cool
thanks a lot for the response.... now the other question I have....
It comes with the pearce grips already on the Mak... is there a place to buy the grip that is displayed on the box... it's the "round star" marked one... however with a thumbrest it looks like... I seen the regualr 'round star" grip on Makarov.com but no place can I find either the one with thumbrest or some nice wood grips
Thanks again

First off, those thumbrest red star grips come in close to the bottom of the barrel in my book. They are made of a hard plastic and typiclly fit VERY TIGHTLY (so tight that some people cannot get them off). Also, since they are so hard, they do not absorb any shock.
Further, they take a slightly different grip screw than any of the other Makarov grips.
If you insist that you want one:

As to the grip screw, if you buy a socket head screw in 5mm pitch with an overall length (head + thread) the same as the standard fluted-head screw, that should work (do not forget to buy the appropriate Allen key also).
If you want some wood laminate grips:

Best grip for an EG Makarov is either a standard red star or the milsurp EG grip:

If you buy the EG grip, be sure to get a "Makarov Grip Screws, Large Head"
thanks for the info teakwood....
I would want the red star thumbrest grips just for the purpose of having it with the gun to be original.
I think since they are displayed on the box that they should be with the gun....
how many of you have a box matching to the Mak ??
