View Full Version : Anybody use this stuff?
Royal Purple Synthetic Gun Oil (http://www.royalpurple.com/prodsa/gunoil.html)
I have used many, many other gun oils (Tetra Gun Grease, FP-10, Break-Free CLP, Rem Oil, M-Pro 7, Gunslick Graphite Lube, etc.) and I just found this stuff and wondered if it was worth trying.
I dont know about the gun oil, but the place I work for we use there
oils in race car engines and it is far superior than anything
else there.
I am going to call and get some coming to try. By they way what
did you pay for a can of it?

I found that in thier catalog the other day. I do like thier ATF and motor oil. Give it a spin, at worest you will have to wipe it off.
I found it on eBay for $2.50 + $4.25 s&h:
Royal Purple Synfilm 32 Gun Oil & Fishing Reel Oil (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&item=190030758404&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)
And the best part is: 1 bottle of Royal Purple® gun oil is donated to our deployed Soldiers for EVERY bottle purchased! Both in our store and on e-bay!!!
I might just give it a try.:drillsgt:
Me and clem eastwood use it. It's great--doesn't burn off, doesn't run or evaporate. I bought it at a gun shop in Dallas--the sales guy said that he had a machine shop in his garage, and oiled some carbon steel, and 1 year later, no rust, and the Royal Purple was still on the steel...
