Those sharp edges on the grip frame of the Smith PPK/S has been my only gripe.....until today!
I finally broke down and purchased a felt wheel and stick of jeweler's rouge....and went to work.
All that's necessary to remove, are the grips.
First, I used a fine round file and carefully took off the sharp edge around the front and back of the grip frame.
I then mounted the felt wheel, put on some of the rouge (seen on top of the motor).....and went to town on it!
Total time was only about an hour, and the job looks professionally done.
Easy to do, and now that grip frame feels like it should. Don't know why Smith didn't do this as procedure....I'm sure with the proper set-up and an experienced operator, it needn't take more than a few minutes to do as a production step.
