Any problems with the very early G31s?

I am looking to buy an early G31 without the finger grooves and rail. Have you guys heard of any problems with these, such as the frames not being able hold up to the added wear? Or do they have the additional metal reinforcement up front, like the railed frames?

Mine is from 1997-98 winter.
Stopped counting at 45,000 rounds couple of years ago.

Thank you for the reply. I talked to Glock this morning about this, too, and they said the same thing as you. No problems whatsoever. (Which doesn't surprise - Glocks just flat-out rule :thumbsup: ) 45,000 rounds(!) :bowdown:
