View Full Version : Any thoughts on Eezox?
I was wondering how well Eezox works as a lubricant. I know the corrosion resistance is great but I was wondering if it really works well as a lubricant and cleaner.
Thanks,
Brian

I think the stuff is great. I use Eezox on all my weapons and knives. It seems to stay on for a long time and not gather gunk like most oils do.
Eezox and Militec is all I use.

It works best as a protectant in my book. Too light for lube.
Saw this post a bit late.
I have been using Eezox on my Glocks for more than 10 years. I think it is the perfect Glock lube/cleaner. The only place I use anything else is on the trigger/connector interface. There I use the tinyest drop of 50W synthetic oil.
The Eezox stays where you put it for years (literally). The synthetic oil creates a "healing film" on the firing system parts, it flows back to cover the contacting surfaces continually restoring the lube film.
The Eezox protects the springs etc from body sweat and other corrosive agents and acts as a dry film which does not attract dust etc to the parts. I have even used it on the striker and slide channels. You must apply it and then wipe off anything you can see but it protects and actually prevents crud from building up.
I just ordered some, in a bit I'll let you know.
