View Full Version : Current pricing for G18
I was trying to look up how much they are running right now just for shoots and giggles, but couldn't find a single one for sale with a price on it... any ideas of how much would have to be spent? I think the 18 might just well be the first thing I'd buy with a class 3... that or an AK, but AK's are pretty much the Glocks of the rifle world or Glocks are the AKs of the pistol world.... i dunno, theyre both TANKS. NUFF SAID!

Good luck finding a civilian class 3 G18.
There are maybe 3 in circulation.

You pretty much can't get one. Not many were registered before '86 so getting one by just paying the for the $200 tax stamp ain't happening. The only possible way is if you are a Class III dealer and can get a Chief LEO to request a demo.
NONE were registered before 1986 because none were imported before 1968. You would have to research when the aftermarket conversion device was invented and see if any are available for civilians that are non-leo to own and transfer. I bet there aren't any of those either.
Here in the Philippines many are using the "FSSG" style and the old school rock n' roll selector of the G18 all localy produced ofcourse.

I want a Glock 18 but, in 45 ACP.
Neither of my wishes will ever happen...
I don´t know about the G18 but you can get a select fire kit from
www.fss-g.com
Write them a mail and find out what type of permit you need to get one.
The good thing about them is that you can pretty much put it in any Glock. I´ve seen it on G17, G20 and on a sub compact. It´s a drop in modification.
They are not much more than a regular Glock <$600. Glock will not ship them to Class 3 dealers. There was one a few weeks ago for $3k that a Class 3 dealer could by with a demo letter.

A dealer in Athens, Ga has one. MUST have LEO demo letter. here's the link to it. Used Glock 18C (http://policeguns.com/2006/cart.cfm?CFID=824&CFTOKEN=92140227&id=prodView&ProductID=5392)
I don't know if this is accurate, but I was told by a respectable dealer that LE agencies can purchase NIB Glock 18s directly from Glock for less than $600. They cannot be purchased by individual LE only by agencies.

I was quote a price of $584 each for three Glock 18C's for the SWAT team and about $20 less for the non C model.

Thanks for the info - they seem to be going up. Last few times I checked, they were only about $100 over standard G17 LE pricing.
