Ran across a little gun shop that has some "Made in China" marked mags that are brand new looking and are individually wrapped in brown paper. He has had them for more than 10 years now and had to look for them when I asked him if he had any AK mags. Definitely Chicom mags without the raised lip and in new condition. I bought 6 at $15.00 a peice. Did I pay too much? He has a few more and I might get them if his price is OK. thanks Carl

Thanks, and I actually figured wrong about the price! (Tired when I posted) I paid $75.00 for 6 mags which is $12.50 a piece. I guess I did alright and probably will get more from him if he has any left.
Tried them in my Armory SSR-85-C2 and they fit like a glove! Tight lockup, no wobble and easy extraction! Just waiting for my backordered ammo from Sportsmans Guide! AARRRGH!

I have noticed the Chinese mags are very susceptible to forming pepper rust so keep them oiled/lubed up.That is why I really like these mags.No rust.
