Does anyone know of a good HK pistolsmith/armorer in the DFW Texas area?
I just bought a 40Cal USPc and would like to get a HiViz sight installed. I understand NOW after reading the posts here that the sights on the compact may be slightly smaller than the full size, and therefor, may need to be fitted (the HiViz site did not mention this, and I already bought a front sight off their website).
Your help in a referral would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks

You might have better luck on the Texas forum here on Glocktalk. Or try this site
http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_Forum/index.php
and HKPro.com might also help. How do you like the gun otherwise?

Smooth shooter. I shot it side by side with a Walter 99 and you could really tell the difference the recoil reduction system has on the gun. Seemingly not as accurate as I had read, though I conceed it is likely the shooter. I have never shot a pistol as accurte as the Ruger P90 and that is the standard I measure all others by. But the Ruger is too big for carry in Texas during most of the year. The USPc is small enough to carry in a tune belt so it is my carry gun when I am not in pocket carry mode. I will say this gun has put an end to my leaning toward getting a Glock 40.
Anyway, if anyone knows of an HK armorer in the DFW area, I would be most grateful.
Many Thanks.
Call DFW Gun Range on Mockingbird Ln. There's a fellow there that's LEO and an HK armorer. I *think* his name is Dave.
