i am about to buy a pre war walther with two mags and the original holster and a colt detective for 250. the guy said the walther has none of the nazi stamps and is in 7.65 it is also in excellent condition says the seller. i was wondering if any one has ever seen of heard of this because i have not seen the gun yet and was wondering what the gun is worth.
thanks for the input

Your getting a pre war walthers and a Colt dick for 250 . their either junl or guy doesn't know what he has. Colt worth the 250. Walthers at least that and more if in good shape. This can't be for real deal.
You might want to drop by the P38 & PP forum to ask there about the PP.

+1 what fritz said......
The prewars did not have any marks but to my knowledge the "crown over N marks"
The Nazi stamps you are reffering to are wartime military acceptance stamps which where not on guns that where commercially available needles to say though for $250 for 2 of the guns I would not worry and get it... then check afterwards but that's just my two cents
