As posted in General Glocking, my H&K badly outshot my Glock 21. The G21 will likely become a safe queen now! I was wondering if my next toy should be a full size H&K of some type of 45ACP? I was also thinking about the Springfield XD45. Any comments to share? Thank You, Greg ShipWreck 10-09-2006, 06:26 Well, the fullsize USP was too fat for my hand. The compact is a bit smaller in the grip. I got rid of my fullsize because of that reason, but like my compact. So, go see how the USP and XD feel in your hand. epsylum 10-09-2006, 18:20 Originally posted by Greg W Today I did a comparison between a Glock 21 and a USP45 Compact. I was also thinking about the Springfield XD45. Any comments to share? Thank You, Greg That was probably due to the Glock trigger. It takes some getting used to. I have had two USPs and they are both gone (that includes a UPSc .45). I currently own a custom Glock 21L and a Glock 30 is my main carry gun. I was consistantly more accurate with the GLocks than I was with the USPs. I have also owned an XD 9 Tactical and sold it as well, I prefer Glocks when it comes to tactical plastic. Other than the 2 Glocks and my Keltec P3AT all my other handguns are metal framed and have either DA/SA or SAO triggers. LSP972 10-09-2006, 19:06 Everybody is different. I have two Glocks that are safe queens now; my USPc .45 puts them in the shade. But my wife elected to stay with her G26s. She did NOT like the HK mag release; she never even shot the P2000K we were looking at. One look at (and some manipulations of) that mag release, and she wanted no part of it.
