not a P1
but I got a P38... does tht count ??
though I have been looking at a P1.... just to at another "P" pistol to my P5 and P7 (might have a P9.. the P99 apparently is designated P9 now)....

Yeah I'm here too. Problem is not enough people own P99's or other Walthers to generate much discussion. Another is that there have not been alot of problems with the P99 as far as a design is concerned. I know I sound biased but hey what can I say.

I'm here too. Bought a Walther P99 - 40 QA about a month ago. Great gun. Just have 200 rounds through it so far. Might get to shoot it again next week. I really like the ergonomics on this gun. Haven't tried alternating backstraps yet.
I am here just about every day!
I am here too but the only Walther I have is a P88.

It is just too bad there is not much discussion going on about Walthers. Everyone seems to think that Glocks are the "be all" gun. While I love glocks for what they are, Walthers are simply in a different league.
Well I would like to think that I do my part to keep this forum going....
