View Full Version : Replacing trigger
Thinking of replacing trigger with elite trigger. What is required and can local smith do it? I've read of problems with sight replacement. How much should one expect to pay to have job done.

Need to order the following parts from Kahr:

Trigger
$14.00
QTY:
010K9E
Trigger Spring
$6.00
QTY:

011K9E

It can be done at home but the trigger Pivot Pin can be a real pain to get out, also it needs to be pushed from right to the left too.The parts numbers I lested are for a K9 Elite and they are copied from the Kahr web site parts page.Hope that helps

Hey, thanks! I had been wondering what it would take to upgrade the NYPD spec trigger to an elite trigger.

There was a bunch of posts about changing the trigger but I searched and could not find them here so. If I remember some used a press or a just a hammer and a brass punch.I personally like either trigger and switched back to the NYPD triggeron my E9. I put the elite trigger on my K40 and it showed a improvement on group size.
