came across a good deal on a new bretta at gander mountain
$449+tax the reason it spose to have a flaw some were in the
finish but when they brought one out i coudn't see any
flaws in it always wanted a bretta and i fiqured this
was the best time at that price i put it in lay-away i want to
use it for a idpa gun.cant wait.tehy coudint tell me what the flaw was
has any one herd or seen these any were else.i did see a cdnn add
that said theres had a flaw under the grip panels

I've heard the grip panel story too but have inspected 2 and found no truth to it either.I agree,if Beretta thinks they don't meet their high standards and want to drop the price for these,I say buy buy buy!!!:banana:

I recently bought a 92FS at a steal, I was actually surprised that I bought it at such a good price from Cabela's. Anyways, what it might be is a factory rebuild and not a brand new one. Look for an inverted Y a the end of the serial number. The card that came in the box explained the Y indications. Basically the gun was used as a display in gun shops or police displays and was dry fired numerous times and that is also why it might have cosmetic flaws. But it has been rebuilt and tested at the factory. So for a few scratches you get a practically new Beretta for a a very cheap price.
