Just ordered a Don Hume IWB for my bulgie, and hope to use it when I get my carry licence. I have zero experience with makarov holsters for concealed carry (or any really) thusfar, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.
The form required a barrel length... I was unsure what to put down as I get two or three different answers when looking online and I wasn't sure exactly where to measure from. I put 3.6"

All the info I have shows the barrel length at 3.83 inches.....

Burncycle,
In my experience, Don Hume is a quality operation with years of experience. If they say they make a particular type of holster for a particular type of gun, you can rest assured it will be done right.
I carried a Ruger P95 (sadly now gone) in their H715-M / IWB for 5 years and had no problem with it. In fact, I loved the color along with the matching ammo carrier I bought with it.
There are better holsters out there (I've discovered I'm now a huge fan of Fist, Inc. holsters). Never the less, for the money, Don Hume delivers. And the service is great.
*edited to say this: Since buying my Don Hume, I've discovered that my sweat is really acidic, and takes a serious toll on the non-protected metal surfaces of my carry-piece.
If your Mak is blued, you may want to think about a holster that has a sweat-shield. Just a thought.

I'm a new Makarov owner! Just picked up a nice Bulgarian for $150 from my local pawnbroker. I took it home to find that it fits perfectly in the Bianchi "Minimalist" holster for "large frame autos". The barrel goes about to the bottom and does not stick out and the trigger guard is covered. The little rubber ring pulls over the hammer to secure it. I'll try to get a pic of the gun in the holster but for now here is a link (http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum2969.php)
Trust me, it's like it was made for it.

It's finally arrived!
The pistol fits great, but I guess I'm getting fat... no matter how I wear it, I can tell

I like my DeSantis holster. I sure wish they hadn't discontinued it.
