My new P7 has radically different slide markings than those I've seen in the past.
The right side has the traditional serial# and proof marks, but the left simply says: Heckler & Koch Made in Germany. I don't see any cartridge label, and the "Orberdorf/n" mark is gone.
Was this gun still made in the Oberndorf factory, or did HK decide to get cheap and save money on a rollmark on a gun they were going to charge $1500 for?
Haven't shot it yet. I'm sure it will work fine.
