Not on foot either.
In a vehicle.

<--- '95 YJ Sahara, 1.5" lift, 31" tires.
Not so much rock-crawling though... more of a general off-road fun machine... the suspension isn't really set up for hard-core rock-crawling.

This is my pile of parts
85 Toyota Ho-Runner. It is pretty heavily built compared to the average 4x4 but isnt anywhere near what I want for the finished deal.
This is Oklahoma wheelin.

Occasionally.

I had to winch out as I had broken a shaft and this was a "quick trip, we won't do anything wild." Right before this shot I almost rolled it on the drop off. I would have been fun, but I was headed home in a few hours and didn't want the hour long recovery.
another random shot

Thank you! It doesn't look like much, but it's pretty unique.
Man, i miss my ol' 85 toyota now. What ya got in it? Stock 22R? or you do stuff to it? In the long run... I ended up putting a Chevy 4.3 liter vortec in place of my 22R.
Now i just have a Tacoma. Ive seen some sweet rigs over in East Oklahoma. Makes me want to get back into the sport.
Oh, i like the International too. What year is that Diesel Mr. Diesel Scout?

The rig pictured above isn't my Diesel. My Diesel is a 1980 Scout II Traveler, one of the last made. It's mostly stock, with the Turbo version of the SD33T, T-19 close and the Scout dana 300.
The rig pictured above is powered by an International 196 with GM fuel injection, backed by a 727 and a Jeep Dana 300. Oh and there are Ford Parts in the distributor, so we've got all of the big three covered!

My rig is still just the ol' 22RE.
It is fuel injected with 280,000 miles on it and still starts and runs with no problems.
I do have dual transfer cases and 5.29 gears in the axles so that makes a HUGE difference in its capability.
We wheel mainly in Disney, Oklahoma. I am actually gonna be there next weekend.

That's a sweet ass Runner. My '86 is bone stock except for 31" TrXus MT's on Taco rims, but it's the daily driver. Needs a clutch and probably a tranny, and a timing chain wouldn't hurt (245K mile 22RE) before I would want to take it out wheeling. Hopefully next summer though!

Sounds like a sweet rig. I need a blender, that would be kick arse back at the camp ground.

I'm also dying to do some rock crawling in Phoenix. I have to wait till I get my new lift, locker and tires first. We need to put together an AZ phoenix run(I'm about 2- 21/2 hours away)
