New AK-47 Owner! Some questions...

I did it, I finally bought an AK (Wasr-10)! Anyway, I have a few questions:

1. The bayonette will not go on. It looks like either the bayonette lug is too big, or the groove for the lug is too small. Anyone else have this problem, and what's the easiest way to fix it.

2. I notice that the magazine is pretty loose inside the gun. Is this normal?

3. What's a good price on ammo? 7.62X39 mm wolf ammo is $3.95/box of 20 at the gun show. Should I buy more?

1. Don't know. I didn't see any need for a bayonette.

2. It is normal for the mag to be a little wobbly. Test fire it a few thousand times to make sure it is reliable.

3. 20 rounds could last you less than 10 seconds. I would definately buy more, much more. I would go with half cases (500) at the very least. $4 per box seems inexpensive, but you will soon see how fun your new gun is to shoot, and will need to begin buying in bulk.

Most WASRs were/are converted, and the mag fit is "loose".

I've shot quite a few AKs and most lock up solidly, or fairly solidly, however, WASRs with loose mags generally shoot fine.
