twist rate on the HK 93?

I have a HK 93 and wanted to know the barrel twist. I was going to e-mail HK, but figured I would ask here first.

The vast majority are 1/12. A few 1/7 twist are in the country. To verify look on the underside of the barrel. The 1/7 twist barrels are marked "178". If no "178" on the barrel, you've got a 1/12.

I just checked, its a 1/12. Most of my ammo is 55 grain, so I am good to go.
Actually I never shoot it, its a mint condition safe queen.

Hello fellow HK'ers.

I thought i would butt in here real quick and ask for any advice on what to buy for spare parts for my 93 while i can still get them?

Any places where you buy your HK parts that has been a good experience?

I don't have any spare parts for my 93, I don't even have a sling on the rifle. I bought the 93 with 6 forty round mags several years ago. I would like to get a couple of 25 rounders, but last I checked the price was way to high. I have put less than 50 rounds down the tube; I have a Bushmaster that I use and abuse.
