Rusty colored residue?

Hey guys,

I just field-stripped my AK-47 (Wasr-10) for the first time before shooting and I noticed there is this rusty-colored residue on the reciever and bolt? What the hell? Is this rust? It's supposed to be brand new! I took it back today and the guy said it was the packing lube they use over seas. Is this true?

The first time the rifle gets really hot, it will ooze out of the cracks a crevices.
