I couldn't believe how much better the 124s shot!
I had a bunch of older REMINGTON 115 JHPs I wanted to shoot up. I couldn't believe the SNAP I got from them in my duaghter's G19. I remember this is what truned me off the G17. Up until know, I was shooting my 124gr reloads. Then I shoot a box of 124gr GOLDEN SABERS. They shoot great and gave me that "push" I wanted and the groups were tight.
What can I say, its 124grs from here on out....

That's interesting. I honestly cannot tell any difference with 115 - 124 - 147gr ammo out of my two 9mm pistols. The all seem pretty close.
I shoot a lot of 115+P+, 127+P+ and 147gr 9mm ammo. I could not tell you which round that I shot. The 9mm always seems snapty even with wwb ammo. Now 45 is another thing. Almost no recoil and faster follow up shots.

Are you sayilng the 45 has no recoil? What caliber(acp or gap) and what platform?

I shot some of the new Federal Premium shells in 124 grain. They packed a little more punch than the hydroshoks. The 124 gr grouped really well also. I picked up a 50 round box for $16.

Any 1911 Government and compact. The 45 acp pushes back into my hand so it stays on target. I have faster and more accurate follow up shots.
The 9mm snaps, it does not matter if it is 147gr, 115+P+ or WWB. It takes a little longer to get my sight picture back for follow up shots.
The 40 does not snap as bad as 9mm but it does take longer than 45 to get back on sight.
Recoil is subjective, what works for me may not work for you.

First time I heard that about the 9. I find the 40 to be real snappy and harder to get back on target. I love the rolling recoil of the 45.

To me...
G17 - Maybe a little snappy.
G22 - Noticably more snap, about the same muzzle flip.
G21 - Pushy, more muzzle flip than the other two.
G21 is slightly bigger with a heavier slide, but a pretty close comparison.
