Well, after the sunset of the assault weapons ban, not that we'd ever notice here in New Jersey, one blessing is the increase of magazine capacities from 10 to 15 rounds. Now, I've got 5 10 round magazines, I'm wondering if they can be outfitted to at least accept and use +2 extensions. I don't believe getting 17 round magazines and modifying them down to 15 is legal, so I figure +2 extensions would be the easy route to fix this issue.
Asside from buying one and finding out it doesn't work, I'm wondering if anybody else has tried, and what were the results? 12+1 instead of 10+1 seems to help my odds of surviving in a home defense situation, and I'm wondering if anybody else has had this train of thought?
