A while back some one posted the blue prints for one of these units. I got started on it missed it up & lost the blue prints. Would the guy be so kind as to post them again.

Has anyone purchased this and tried the steps?
Or does anyone "know of a friend" who has?

Depends on where you are.
United States do not allow "Post-Sample" manufacture unless you is a 02 SOT, or a C3 with a "demo letter" to have unit seen in the pic... us regular people not allowed to possess Post-Sample.

nice, mercfreak!
is that an original fssg or a fabricated unit?
thanks
I have a conversion sear sitting in my safe. It's never even been installed on a gun. (I'm not a Glock fan.)
I'm just waiting for the local indoor range to get their demo letter written, and then I'll be transferring it and my Post-Sample Vector Uzi to them on a Form 3.
They plan to rent the Uzi, but not the Glock. They're worried about people losing control with a F/A Glock and tearing apart the ceiling. So, it's getting installed into a Glock and left in back for the employees and a lucky few to play with from time-to-time. (Fine with me, as I'm one of the lucky few.)
I'm coming up smelling like roses in the deal. I get an annual membership ($250 value), $650 cash, and free use of the Uzi and Glock whenever I come in.
(It's good to be me sometimes.)

Put the conversion on one of the C models and it is quite controllable. I've shot a 17 which was barely controllable. an experienced shooter could do three round bursts safely, but much more than that went up. With the conversion on a 19C it was *easy* to do mag dumps on a G18 mag & keep them all COM on a B27.

There's a nice one for the normal glocks which looks like a G18 switch. I haven't seen blueprints for it, but I've handled one. It looked a lot better than the backplate, but obviously it isn't as versatile.
Target17,
Please check your PM
i have seen the switch for sale from time to time on guns america, they run about 200.00 if i rembember right, dont ask me how they do it,must be legal with the proper govt, license.

If they were legal they would have to transfer to you through a C3 dealer with an ATF Form 4 and they would sell for heck of a lot more than $200. Those ads are just like the $250 AR-15 DIAS's in Shotgun News. Legal DIAS's are over $10,000. If the ones in Shotgun News were legal they wouldn't be selling for $250. If any type of conversion device wasn't registered with ATF before May 19, 1986 than they are not legal for a citizen to own. I don't like it, but that's the law. If you buy one of these unregistered devices you are putting your butt on the line if you get caught with it.

Mikegun:
Yes, there are several places to buy one, & yes, you have to be a S.O.T. to be legal. I want to manufacture one to put on a G-17C to rent on my range. It may turn out to be easier to just buy one.
Thanks
