Read a review of the 357 and it said the it wears out guns. How are the Glocks (especially the 33) holding up?
Had G31 and G33 since 1998.
And G32 since 1999.
They are still going.

I've wondered about this too as I'm now looking at a 32 purchase. But I suspect it's all nonesense put out by the "9mm only" cult crowd. But if it is more likely for the 357 SIG guns to be harsher than the others maybe that means they'll "only" last for 400,000 rounds vs. 500,000 9mm rounds.
Thejackbull45, where did you read this review?

And not to hijack your thread but I read on one of the 357 SIG info sites (think it was Pete-357.com) that the GLOCK 357 line of pistols have better supported chambers in them than say some of the other bigger bores. Is this true? Does this help to prevent the ever dreaded kB? And so if they are better supported shooting quality reloads in them shouldn't be a problem, right?
Thanks for the info, guys. I try not to be too overly paranoid about kB issues but I just gotta ask...:)

I believe it is 100% supported because of the bottlenecked shape.
A kb is still possible, but not the Glock unsupporetd chamber type.
I would agree reloads should be as safe a most other guns.

Texas DPS use P226's and New Mexico SP use G-31's. Other SP agencies are adopting the .357 Sig, and being an LEO(we research what other agencies have used before buying equipment), I have to believe they got good feed back from those two large agencies.IMHO

I don't think Glock would not improve the 357 line (as well as all the others) with the advancements in stronger metal and polymer over the years.
I've had my G32 for 5 months and haven't noticed any wear yet. If anything I would suspect the recoil spring and guide rod would fail first. I haven't noticed any cracks on the slide and wouldn't suspect any on the frame.
I really like mine alot and would never discourage any prospective buyer from getting one for CCW.
