Given to us by my GF's folks (original owners)
Washed and Waxed today and it turned out great!

I agree, I always loved how those land yachts just 'float' down the road.

Twas the first day I got her. Oh how I miss it. RIP my '05 Corolla XRS. I will miss the tight close ratio 6 speed and 8500 rpm redline with the VVTL-i kicking in at about 6k. Best damn car I ever had and some stupid uninsured b***h had to take it from me.

Fnfalman, I love that shot with the strategically placed bubbles.:hearts: But you desert boys can't have all the fun, here's how we wheel up in the NorthWet. The MOG was a firetruck once upon a time. The guts (hoses, pump, water tank, etc.) was taken out and the shell was meant to be used as a camper shell but the sheet metal was too thin. Even with reinforcement angle iron welded in to hold them up, it still flexes like crazy. So...this is how it looks now.

I've only owned it for 3 months.

I've put on about 15K miles since I bought it (5K a month)and have done some "mods", but so far only oil changes have been needed. Because of the turbos it needs synthetic 5w-30.

Stock, the car has 250hp with the 2.7 biturbo. after about a month, I had an APR stage III upgrade done, not because of a "need" but a "want". I haven't dynoed yet but I should be at about 447hp now and 467 lb-ft.
see here for simulated dyno run with upgrades
http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/27tko4_power_figures.html

My previous car was a Dodge Magnum RT, and the Audi is BY FAR a much more enjoyable car to drive. That said, because of the miles I drive, I expect to buy a car every 2 years, and I don't think I'd ever buy a non turbo car again.

SCRTeach-
Is that your first Harley? If not tell me how you compare the 96" and 6 speed to what you owned before.

I'm purchasing either a roadglide or street glide this year (getting rid of my '90 FLST for a full tour bike)and can get a REAL good deal on a new 06, but don't want to kick myself in the ***** if the 96" and 6spd of the 07actually warrents the $4000 extra.

My evo is 96" with a pretty hot cam, so the extra weight of the bagger is going to warrent motor work down the road anyways.

PS- good looking RG, the local dealer only has the 07 in orange and that crappy denim color.

I had a 2003 Road King before this and put about 26000 miles on it while I had it. The Road King was stock except for Screamin' Eagle slipons. The extra power of the new Road Glide is noticable. However, I think (and this theory has been confirmed on some of the other forums I frequent) that the new 96 incher needs to breathe better than the stock configuration allows in order to unlock its true potential. The 6 speed is great if you spend lots of time at 70mph and up...otherwise you won't ever use 6th. It makes for very relaxed highway riding...on the old 'King I was always looking for 6th once I got up to that sort of speed.

I've heard lots about heat from owner of new harleys. I live in a very low traffic area so I haven't noticed it at all if there is.

I've also heard complaints of a fifth gear whine. I can only hear it if I drop my head down low enough (like next to the tank).

Hope that helps, and good luck with your decision. I like the looks of the Street Glide, but after riding the Road Glide I doubt I'll ever own anything else.

Nicer BlaZeR2, but the ******tybuilt brushguard and nerfs have got to go. The first time you bump them on something they'll fold up and bend your body. AMHIK. :( Here're a couple shots of my homegrown specials. The main tube on the bumper is 2 1/2" 1/4" wall pipe and has come out on top in several tree collisions. NO body damage since the sliders and bumper went on. Oh yeah, and it's way too clean.

Have you tried to pull the battery negitive cable off and let it sit for a hour or 2 then reconnect?
That will usually reset the code.
If not you might want to visit a autozone and see if you can have them pull the code, and if its nothing they might beable to reset it using the scan tool.

PS: still working on pictures of the 03 ZR2

Near the button that resets your trip odometer is a recessed button. While the vehicle is running, use a key and push the button in and hold until the light goes out.

But first let me ask what color is the light. On both of the Hondas I own/owned, the light turns from green to yellow when oil changes are needed. When I push the button in as described above, it changes from yellow back to green.

That sucks, and why the hell did they have to break both windows?

If your up to it you can buy one of those wireless NV cameras and put it so it can watch over your car, My setup is a networked camera that detects movement and has a light that turns on with the camera and then starts to record to both a computer inside and remote website. It was a setup that I had to get all the bugs worked out for a client but I liked it so much I decided to keep one for my self.

Crooks are DUMB. I had a Camry years ago and they broke out BOTH rear windows. The broke the opera window then realized they couldn't reach the latch. Then they broke the back window, taking my Pioneer CD player.... Grrrrrr

Love the Marauder!!

My wife wants a car to commute in and I've been trying to find her a Gran Marquis or Crown Vic that doesn't look like a grandma car.

The Marauders are still too pricey (not that I'd turn her loose in a nice collectible:upeyes: ).
