Night Site Issue

I had new Mepros installed on my G17. They are installed exactly center on my slide without a doubt. I am hitting 2 inches left at 15 yards. My factory sights were center on my slide and I hit POI. Has anyone else had this issue. I guess I will have to move the sights over but this doesnt seem natural.

You say the rear sight is dead-center...

Is the front sight aligned straight between the parallel planes, formed by the sides of the slide?

Do both sights appear plumb?

I experienced something like this on Judy's G19, which is on its third set of sights (Trijicon), and my G17, which was refitted with DP Adj/FO. But I corrected for it in both cases, fairly quickly. I found the attached handy for sorting out the problem...

Have you switched ammo?

The human eye-brain can be a tricky thing; and if these new sights are installed properly, you're somehow seeing things differently...

This is one of those times a LaserMax is an awesome tool to have on hand!

Ultimately, you can certainly drift the rear sight to the right a bit. I ended up doing this with Judy's XS' about 1/16" to correct for a similar problem. It worked! ;)
