G36 Meprolight Night Sights?

Looking to install Meprolight night sights on my newly acquired G36. Are the sights for this model proprietary, or will a set of G26/G27 sights fit? I'm thinking that the design of the rear sight of the G26/G27 Meps would add a hair more distance between the front and rear sight, which may help a smidge in the accuracy department. Maybe I'm splitting hairs here, huh? Anyway...........

You will need the sights for the 10mm/.45ACP models. They fit the 20/21/29/30/36.

G36's carry a proprietary set of sights, due to the front screw needs to be shaved, in order to clear the space between the barrel and the slide. The Meprolight sights, part number ML-10222, are advertised as for the 20/21, and I am sure you can use them on the 30/29, I don't think you can use them on the 36 without modifying the front sight screw.
