Surefire P111D momentary switch

I just got a brand spanking new G17 :supergrin: :supergrin:
First glock. I bought berely used (mint condition) Surefire P111D light. The switch works great when not mounted once mounted on the 17 its difficult to operate (especially the right side since I'm a south paw) Is there any trick as to mounting it (raise or lower it a bit) which finger should angage the switch. Just the tip or entire finger - this is for both hands grip.

Anybody has any experince with this light. Also the P111C model has constant on/off switch I was wondering if the same can be retrofited to my D model. I have the disable option.

I have the W111D and the pressure switch works fine with me. Maybe the "bubble" pressure switch has flattened out. Contact Surefire.
