G36 Meprolight Night Sights?

I posted this in the Big Dawgs Club, but thought I'd get a bit more exposure here in General Glocking...

Looking to install Meprolight night sights on my newly acquired G36. Are the sights for this model proprietary, or will a set of G26/G27 sights fit? I'm thinking that the design of the rear sight of the G26/G27 Meps would add a hair more distance between the front and rear sight, which may help a smidge in the accuracy department. Maybe I'm splitting hairs here, huh? Anyway...........

The sights for the smaller caliber aren't the same height as the sights for the .45acp/10mm. The dovetail may be the same size and they will fit but your POI will be off.
