I recently installed 3 sets of Meps. One was on a G17 and the other 2 were on a g23 and g30. I was using a MGW sight pusher for the rear sights and everything went together as it was supposed to. I installed the front sights on the g17 and g23 with no problems whatsoever. When I tried to install the front sight on the g30 the screw broke off leaving most of it in the sight.I used no more pressure on this one than any of the others which makes me think a defective screw. My question is has anyone had this happen to them and how did you fix it. I dont really want to buy another set of sights. Does anyone have one of the extra screws? How did you remove the broken one? If i call Meprolight and told then what happened and sent them the broken one would they replace it? This is my off duty carry weapon and would like to get it fixed ASAP. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give.
