Glock 36 sights?

I recently picked up a Glock 36, and I must say that I like it a LOT!

I want to put nightsights on it (Specificaly Meprolights), and I've noticed that a lot of sights say "Not for the Glock 36".

I measured the stock sights on my G36 against some other stock Glock sights that I have from a G21, and they are the same width and height. Can I just order sights for a Glock 10mm/45acp?

The G36 requires, as I recall, a shorter screw for the front sight.

To answer your question, yes. But you'll have to do a bit of modifying...

Any of the ones for a .45 Glock will. However, the hex screw has to be filed down some to allow barrel clearence. You would do the filing on the flat part.

I put Meps on my G36, got em off ebay for $60 nib about a year ago.

RayB - Thanks. I made a few calls today, and that was the information I was given as well. But it's nice to have gotten that from a few different sources.

Now I just wait for the new sights to come in! They should be here this weekend.

these ameriglo's are very tempting... but they are listed as fitting the wide stuff as well as the 36, makes me question the fit.

Yeah I'm of the feeling they need to be specifically for 36. Heinies are, and some trijicon Non novak style say specifically for 36. Probably go with some of those, if I can get past TFO's. So tempting, cause I love FO, but apparently their night brightness leaves much to be desired.
