View Full Version : Stock Pistol G17
I just put some money down on a nice clean used 3rd gen G17 that has Trijicons and other than it has a Glock extended mag release seems pretty much box stock. The only thing that seems different is the trigger--not "spongy" as the ones I've handled. Any way to determine if its stock without having to pull it apart? I want it for competition events that essentially wants an unmodified gun.
Which competitions are you planning on shooting. IDPA and USPSA both allow trigger work to be done.
The one's for stock pistol--I think one refers to it as Production
USPSA Production - does allow mods to the trigger.. just no external changes to the trigger.
My take on the trigger mods: if you can't see it, it's ok.
Few people run totally stock triggers.
Great, that should be just fine. I just have to resist the urge to modify any further;)
