just shot 50 today from russian ij70 and was very pleased

LVE 9x18 has always had good reviews for reliability. It's sort of suprising that KY Imports still has some; it hasn't been imported for some time. I put 20 rounds through a chronograph and it averaged around 1,000 fps. In overall length it's close to Sellier & Bellot, Federal American Eagle, and the current Brown and Silver Bear FMJs. For that price it's a good deal on good ammo. The downside is that the case and bullet both contain steel and will attract a magnet, and some indoor ranges don't accept that.
