View Full Version : Law -17 Laser
Can anyone tell me anything about this laser system good or bad ? It's the little laser that mounts on the trigger guard of glocks.

I've had a Law-2000 system for 12 years and I love it. Mine was done by Aero-Tek back then. S.K. Industries is a good place to send your gun and never get it back. Do a search on the forum here. Lot's of people had to call the local sheriff, etc. to put pressure to try and get their guns back.
Here's another (see attached) alternative...
This is a new entry from an established laser manufacturer, just starting to get press:

And it's priced right!

$350!!!!!
I like it! $189.00 isn't bad. I've always wondered why someone didn't make a laser/light combo that put the laser under the barrel. Makes no sense to put it under the light causing bigger elevation errors.
Actually there are units out there that place the laser closest to the barrel, but they are absurdly expensive.
We're very pleased with the original guide rod-type LaserMax units in our G19 & G21. Both have thousands of trouble-free rounds on them. But they are gun model-specific.
The new Uni-Max can pull duty on any rail-equipped gun.
I'd like to try a green-beam Uni-Max on my G17! It could also be paired up with the red-beam LaserMax equipped guns, for a day/night laser option. Plus, our SureFire X200s will slip right on, as before.
I like independent systems, so that if one unit (the laser, say) fails, the other unit (the light, say) still functions. Both LaserMax and Uni-Max offer this independence.

Cool, They have one that fits J-frame revolvers also.

It works as advertised but I will never send anything to SKI again.
