Just got my new G-19 and I have already put a few goodies on, CGR race cut Heinies with night sights, took a while but they are worth the wait. .25 cent polish job, stainless recoil rod and 13 lb recoil spring.

Bill,
Nice sights, I have the race cut straight eights. They are a great choice.
As for the recoil spring and guide rod...PUT THE STOCK PARTS BACK!
You are asking for nothing but trouble.
On another forum, a gentleman talked about how he nearly lost his life because he didn't leave the stock parts stock.
Take a lesson from someone else's mistake. Put the original parts back.
Dont know about the other stock parts, as mine are stock...except for the steel guide rod. I dont see any issues with that...mine have functioned flawlessly for years....
YMMV
Why take the chance?
I can see an argument for modifications...frame checkering, different sights, extended magazine release, or even a longer slide stop lever, etc. But, placing non-stock Glock parts into your Glock is a mistake.
It's been proven time and time again.
I have no problems with someone wanting to have a fun gun or a race gun. Those can be a blast (pun intended)! BUT, if you are wanting to own a Glock for a self defense weapon, then PLEASE, NO INTERNAL MODIFICATIONS. NO NON-GLOCK PARTS.
I'm glad you haven't had any problems thus far and I hope you've tested your Glock thoroughly and not just a couple of shooting sessions here and there and calling it good.
