I've owned a KP944 for several years. After I got the extractor tightened, it has been very reliable.
It's a heavy gun, good for the range. I have a G23 for CCW. :)
After buying something else TWICE instead of getting a KP944, I finally found one. I'm going to wait 'till the show this Friday to see if I can find a better deal. If not, I'm going to try to work the local shop's price down a little.
So these KP944's are alright? :)
BTW the one I'm looking at is an older model with the swinging link barrel (not the camblock). Any REAL advantage to either?
Try it you will like it. Pops
Thanks I definately will try to get it this weekend. After I rented a G35 I wanted to get a .40, and at the show I ended up with another .45 (KP90) because the price was unbelievable and there wern't any .40's ther. A few weeks ago I got a P226 .40 after I thought they sold the KP944 I'm looking at now. They had just moved it and it was hidden from view in the corner of the case.
For some reason I just seem to come back to Ruger, though that SiG is a sweet shooter :).
