View Full Version : IDPA Holster Belt
Any recommendations on holster belts for IDPA. I'd like to get a belt that goes over my pants belt and holds my Blade Tech holster and mag pack. I'm thinking that nylon with velcro. I've seen Uncle Mike's Ultra Duty which I think is very stiff. A Bianchi looked good. Comments needed for getting the right belt.
Thanks.

First off I would recommend reading the IDPA rulebook, as the belt you have described is not legal for IDPA. The belt MUST pass through the belt loops on your pants for it to be legal. Having said that, I would recommend the Wilderness instructors 5 stitch belt.

Aker B21 (best belt for the money IMHO)

Bottom line is any good quality gun belt that works for daily concealed carry is a good IDPA belt.
As AggieMax noted, "Duty Belts" (belts that go over regular belts) are not allowed in IDPA.

heck yeah. i'd say like 60% of guys at my IDPA matches run wilderness 5 stitch.
The Uncle Mike's Instructor belt is just as good as the Wilderness belt at 1/2 the cost. I know I have both.
Thanks for the input on IDPA rules covering gun belts.
