ok so i was at the gun store today and they had a display with the streamlight laser/light combo. im pretty much sold, but is the laser adjustable? if not, at what distance is it zeroed at?

Yes its adjustable. There are two tiny little Allen screws on the bottom and side for windage and elevation.
Im guessing you're talking aboug the M6 or TLR-2?
