whats the difference in the two? i got a chance to play with a streamlight m6 today and liked it, but then i noticed online the glock laser/light combo for about $75 cheaper... is there any advantage the streamlight has over the glock?

Get the TLR-2 which is superior to both and usually cheaper then the M6.

Err, I just reread your post and saw you put streamlight as an option.
The TLR-2 is made by Streamlight as well. Its their new version which is an LED vs a Bulb, Metal construction vs plastic, waterproof vs water resistant, 2.5 hours run time vs 1 hour run time.
It compares with the Surefire X200 series of lights but not as expensive.
Some people will tell you that the SF is better but to each his own.
Yes. I just received a TLR-2 and shot with it on for the first time yesterday. Appears well made and works well. Actualy balances on the gun real nicely with a full clip in. And out of the box the laser was pretty dead on. And to answer your other threads question before you have to ask, yes, it is adjustable too. I liked the fact that it was Aluminum hull and LED.

Stay away from the Glock tac light and get a Surefire.
