When I get a chance I'll bring the requested club member numbers over from the Clubhouse thread. Thanks to everyone who helped get this forum going. Enjoy.

Cool, now let's get to work.

Where do we find cheap 50AE.?

Ammunition To Go gets $20.95 for 20 rounds of Magnum Research.

Does anyone beat that? :)

yaaaaay it's open. I don't have .50AE:sorry: , would reloading be the best option? I am hoping to start with .44 mag :)

GREAT!!! Thanks for all involved in getting it started.

I have a DE in .50 cal. I load for it. My fav load is 32 grs. of H110 with the Speer 325 Gr bullet,CCI350 primer. It's a full house load but I still can't find a load factory or reload that gives full reliability. Anyone have one that works better?

Wahoo! We're up!
I took my deer this year with a .50AE , but it wasn't my Desert Eagle.

Freedom Arms M555 .50AE, 2x Leupold, and a handload consisting of 30.0 grains of H110, CCI-350, and a cast 350 grain SWC GC bullet. One shot to the neck at a measured 145 yards dropped him in his tracks.

Kind of a neat effect with the camera flash washing out the red of the sunset in the foreground.

NICE deer JBar!! Cool pic too. I need to practice with my DE to get accurate enough to shoot at anything live. CONGRATS!

This revolver will easily shoot sub-3" groups off a rest @ 100 yards, and the center of the groups is about two inches high at that range, which puts it about 4" high at 50 yards, and 6 1/2" low at 150 yards. That's as far as I'd shoot deer sized game with a .500 mag, .475 Linebaugh, .454, or .50AE revolver. A .460 would probably still be effective out to 200 yards in the right hands.

Sweet! Are we going to start a numbers thread? A lot of people posted for numbers in the to get this forum.

Great to see this finally open up!

I'm a Baby Eagle owner, and look forward to seeing (hopefully) a lot more traffic in here to talk about this 'sleeper' gun.

Of course, think most of this will be Desert Eagle orientated, but I enjoy looking/reading about those as well.

New to GT all around, thought I'd stop by here first to say hi. I'm glad to have found this since there's hardly any information on DE pistols easily found. I'll get pictures of mine up sooner or later. I just realized I don't have any with my new camera.

Almost forgot.. It's a black .44 XIX.
