View Full Version : Changing .40 P2000 barrel to .357 sig
Can you change the barrel on a .40 P2000 to a .357 sig barrel like you can on some other guns like the sig?
I called the factory and they said they didn't advise it.
Does anyone know anyone who has done it and what the results were?
Thanks.
HK did not advise to do so??
Don't worry, it is no problem!
I was told by an HK rep that they didn't advise it. I thought about it for a few days and couldn't figure out why not.
So I called HK back. I got a different rep this time. He said there is no problem at all in doing it.
I'm going with the second advise because I don't see anything wrong with doing it either.
By the way, I have still a Javis barrel in .357 SIG for the P2000.
I bought the gun when it came out and sold the .40!
If you are interested, I sell it for $105 shipped.
Yes I may very well be interested. Email me privately at medical35@yahoo.com and give me your phone number.
Thanks.
Um, its the same gun. Of course they don't recommend it. They would rather you buy a whole new P2000 in .357 ;)
I have both the .357 and .40 cal barrels for my P2000 .40, both work fine in the same gun.

where were you able to obtain 357 barrels for the P2000 from?
charles
Hrmm Jarvis I think it was made them for a short time. I don't believe they make them anymore due to low demand.
I'd have to go pull mine out of the safe and look. I don't mess with my P2000 much lately.
Buy the one MarcDW has for sale above for $105.
