I asked this question a couple of years or so ago and didn't get any useful response. So now that we have our own club, I'm going to try again.
Has anyone ever seen a G21 without a lanyard hole?

I have not but I also haven't seen many old g21's either.
No. Is there anything special about it? Have you?
Why do you ask?

I've only seen one, and I've looked at a lot of them over the years! I dunno, it's kind of a curiosity. I doubt it adds to the value but it might amuse a collector.

Some people get them lobed off. To me thats like getting the grip reduced why do it? If you bought the pistol with it why change it? If it isn't broke don't ******* with it.As far as I know they were never made that way as they are intended as Police/Spec ops/ Military pistols. And while a lanyard is some what anachronistic it has a use in modern times even if you do not ride. Can we all say wepion retention?

The lanyard loop some folks think that being removed makes the pistol more streamlined or somthing

There is no lanyard loop. My question is about the lanyard hole in a Glock.

nd thats what my answer was about they all have the hole unless some one removed it
I've never seen a lanyard hole removed.
Could you show me a pic of a G21 with a lanyard hole removed...a link maybe?

Don't have one, like I said I have only seen one and It had been gound down and filled to change the grip as well as removing tha lanyard hole. I think it was filled with some sort of bondo type plastic filler the pistol was an ugle abortion looking thing but I guess the owner was happy with it since he was always showing it off.
