Took my H&K P-2000 .40 S&W with the LEM trigger to the range yesterday. This is only my 4th trip with the gun so I may still be getting use to the trigger.
The gun shoots fine at human size torso targets, maybe just slightly high. When I shoot at 6 inch plates at 15 yards I have to aim just below the metal plate in order to hit consistently. At 60 yards the 12 inch plates are hit and miss so to speak. I may hit the gong 3 out of a 10 times. Before you say its me, I hit the gong every time with my Glock 19 at 60 yards.
The LEM trigger makes a decent combat trigger, but is it a poor target trigger at distance?
Your thought and opinions are welcome.

anyone know anything about this?
It's your trigger work. Practice dry firing. The Compact USPs and P2000s all have a curved trigger which causes people to shoot all over the place. But once you get used to it and find your sweet spot on the trigger you will get bored of the same hole effect.

Thanks for your reply.
Yeah No problem. I had the same problem when I first bought my Hk USP and USP compact and now P2000SK. Its the curved trigger. USP isnt bad. Its the compact ones that gives people trouble. Check out www.sportshooter.com and see where your bullets are impacting. Then you will know what you doing wrong in relation to the bullet impact. Hope that helps. Safe shooting.

To answer your question about point of impact. It is zeroed in at 25 meters (82 feet). At shorter distances like 21 feet, the rounds will appear to hit low, so cover the desired point of impact, and you should hit it, as long as your trigger pull is sound. At greater distances, you'll want to lower your sights a bit, relative to your desired point of impact.

I was wrong.
I was using WWB the day I tried the long distance shots with my P-2000. I took the gun to the range today and put 50 rounds of 180 gr. Speer Gold-dots through it. I had an 80% hit rate on the gong at 60 yards.
I guess the problem is not the trigger, but the WWB ammo I was using. The trigger was not a problem at that distance. I put the front sight right on the plate and it hit.

I'm glad you figured out the problem was your ammo.
Having been a Glock guy for the longest time it was a huge transition for me to have to use the P2000 LEM trigger but I got used to it and have no problems hitting from 50-yards. I actually did my best at the 25-yard line compared to closer distances when I qualified last week for the Border Patrol.
The biggest problem I had to overcome was anticipating the shot whenever I pulled back to the "wall" and knew the BANG was about to come. It resulted in a lot of low shots. With the Glock I never thought about it. For me it was a mental issue. The gun does what is asked of it.

It will perform well once you get used to it.
I wanted to know what ammo the Border Patrol is issuing for their officers?
