Who has their Desert Eagle scoped? And with what?

Once upon I was going to. I was looking for a hologram scope to put on it, but none of them would've fit without removing the front sight. So I decided to look at regular scopes, but the sales people didn't think any regular handgun scope could handle the recoil. So I said screw it. I'll eventually get one of those rails Magnum Research sells that has more mounting slots.

I do (see the pic in the pic thread). I've used several different set-ups (tube, red dot, holo). I like the "rail" method best...It keeps brass away from the scope.

For tubes I like fixed 2x (on all hunting/target handguns). Bigger magnification numbers don't work for me with an off hand shot. That makes adjustable scopes a waste.

For holographic sights I like the Bushnell XLP. Low profile and water resistant. Not to mention a familiar pattern (just like the EoTech on my AR).

For red dot I like the Leupold LG-35. Leupold quality optics in a package that Is very similar to my target .22 scope (Tasco ProPoint). I'd put an LG-35 on my .22 if it would fit my set-up.

I don't shoot my DE a lot. I just shoot enough to sight it in (or verify sighting), then 1 or 2 shots per hunting season. I've owned a DE over 10 years with fewer than 100 shots fired.

I've tried Aimpoint, EoTech, JPoint, Trijicon ReflexII, C-More, Tasco...In fact I've got a NIB Nikon EER 2x matte silver finish in matching Desert Eagle rings looking for a new home...if anyone is in need.
