HK45 and P30
Any news on the if or when release date?
What did they decide on the grips?
What is the variants going to be?
Heck tell any and every thing you know about them if you want.
Im a big fan of the USP variant 1 and would really like a HK45 and a P30.40cal in this variant.
Only thing I know is they dropped the spidey grips on the HK45 and went with the better looking ones. They have all the info in the subscription section of HKpro forum. I just don't want to fork over the money for the subscription

They did not drop the "spidey" grips completely...they are on the fullsize, but the HK45 compact will have P2000 style grips.

So know you have to pay HK to get info? I knew anything HK is going to bring a pretty penny but pay to get the new scoop on their guns. Either they are greedy money misers or smart money makers. Thanks for sharing what you know.

HKPRO is not run by HK any more than Glock Talk is run by Glock. I paid a fee to become a premium member, but I get a lot more than inside scoops on soon-to-be-released guns.

Access to HK Customer Service, very cool downloads, inside info about HK products, private forums, etc. That's all I can say, otherwise I'd have to....

What do they mean by this? Anyone can call or email HK Customer Service. If HK is truely holding out customer service to some folks who pay a forum, then they're truely showing poor customer service.

HK Customer Service is a member/moderator of a specific forum. We can post questions or send private messages.

HK Customer service actually posts there and answers questions for premuim members. ITs pretty nice.
I heard release for HK45 would be in 1st or 2nd quarter in 2007.
that HK45 looks pretty sweet.

Derek

I think the idea is you don't have to have a tactical model...you can get either the full size or compact with a extended threaded barrel....

as someone stated earlier, HKPRO is not run by the HK. I made out as a Premium Member to support the constantly growing website/forum just like the Glocktalk.com. Instead of a fundraiser, Tom just has desided to take a path different than that to raise funds to keep the site running.
I live in Finland so I have no use for the HK USA customer service but because of the enormous help and the ammount of information, I desided to go a Premium member to support.
HKPRO had a fundraiser in ´01 if my memory serves me right and since I didn´t have a credit card, I cuold not donate. Now I can and did.
In my opinion, every website that gives you information etc. in such a scale like Glocktalk, HKPRO and others, are to be supported financially by the writers to keep the operations running. I mean, it is not hundreds of dollars you are giving away. I have to admit that I am not a regular here at GT but I still hope that the site stays up and running.
Thanks,
Miku

Go to Larry Vicker's site. He has links to some gun rag articles on the HK45. All the info you seek is in there. They will be released in '07. USP firing system so you can have any of the 9 variants.
