I want to get an h&k mostly for concealed carry. Looking at the specs of the 45c and the 40c theres not alot of differance other then the 40 holding 4 more rounds. I like the 45acp round and figure in cooler months i should not have a problem concealing it with a good belt and holster. Just wondering what some of you guy's think.

maineglocker, I have both a 45c and a 9c, so I can address the size question for you. (The 9c and the 40c you are considering are dimensionally identical). The 45c is only about 2 ounces heavier if that matters to you. The 45c barrel is about .4 inches longer, which is not that big a difference. One conceals as easily as the other. The grip dimensions are almost the same--the 45c is only very slightly larger, which is an advantage if you have a large hand like I do. The holsters of many manufacturers are the same for the 9/40 and the 45. My Galco Concealable OWB works equally well for either. And it is not that hard to conceal. (I'm 5'10", 145 lbs.)
The caliber choice is strictly yours and has been the subject of many other passionate and heated threads on this forum and others. I like the capacity of my 9, something you mentioned in favor of the 40, but which do I carry? The 45.
Can't go wrong either way with an HK.

I have made my mind up. I picked up a new uspc 45 yesterday morning took it home and cleaned it up. Now just waiting for it to stop raining so i can try it out.
Good job; you won't regret your purchase. My wife bought me one back in July; it has supplanted my several Glock 9mms.
Check out www.hkpro.com for everything HK-related.

In autopistols, I only consider two calibers: .45ACP and 9mm Para.
So my choice was rather obvious.

Very nice! My USPc .45 ss is an awesome weapon. It shoots very soft and is very accurate. Un-supported standing at 12 yards I can get a 1 1/2" group with it. You should look into putting a hogue or similar rubber grip on it. It greatly improves the feel and controllability. Oh, and where are the pics?! I want at least 4!

Yeah, let's see some pics now.
Good choice, the USP45c is on my shortlist.
