Shot 9mm out of my 357SIG today...

Not on purpose--I'm just an idiot. How these rounds got in the mag I'll never know. I don't even recall having any Speer 9mm around, yet they were mixed in my G32 mag.

Frightening looking 9mm cases after they were shot out of that chamber.

Gun seems unfazed--fired maybe 100 rounds (all 357SIG!) after, no problems.

That's cheaper than buying a 9mm conversion barrel and a 9mm magazine.

Well, if the zombies were at the door, and all I had was a 357SIG gun and a box of 9mm I might try it again. Short of that, no thanks.

It really is a mystery--I don't recall buying Speer 9mm HPs, since I don't have a 9mm I use for defensive purposes. But these HPs were in mag of Speer GDs that I loaded up months ago and decided to cycle through. Could there have been a few 9mm rounds in my box of 357SIG? Possible I suppose, but I am guessing something else happened--got some friends ammo mixed in, or something.

At least I had the right size bullet!

I'm surprised the bullet had enough oomph to make it all the way down the barrel w/o getting stuck. The case wouldn't seal well in the chamber (I'd imagine it split...). Not enough pressure to move forward. Have a picture?

I've seen 357 Sigs fired in 40 S&W chambers.It just expanded the case.

Looks like the case did seal at the shoulder point in the chamber.

Just enough to get in the chamber to seal! Where you able to see where the bullet impacted the target? Glad to see the gun (and you too!) are ok!

did the slide cycle?

or did you have to rack the slide to clear the 9mm case?

I see two 9mm there..... how many total did you run thru the gun?
